Hot pastrami on rye was fantastic!! Haven't had one in years & it was perfection. Super fresh rye bread & the pastrami was... perfectly cut. As a New Yorker transplanted to CA about 2 years ago, I haven't lost my taste buds. Rockafella's is my go-to place for my "taste... of home." Brisket on rye...delicious! And, as an added bonus, the pictures of NY all around includes one of my former officebuildings on Wall Street and South Street. Don't forget to pick up a black and white cookie! Decided to go since kids wanted pizza and the Yelp Reviews were great. Walked in and everyone was super friendly and welcoming.... We ordered BBQ wings, Philly Steak Pizza and a Meatball Sandwich. Wings were good, super saucy and meaty! Philly Cheese Pizzawas also delicious. The cheese and dough were delicious! Meatball sandwich was ok. Meatballs were pretty bland. Overall a goodplace.
