Wow! This is easily the best Mexican restaurant I?ve ever been to. The food here is so authentic and delicious I am hungry even... thinking about it. I?ve been going to Mexico Cafe for most of my life from the original location in San Bernardino, and this location in Temecula... does not disappoint. The food is consistently good, and the margaritas are always awesome. I recently discovered they have asalsa sampler with several different types of different from what they serve with the chips and salsa. Ask your server for it! Idid only give it 4 stars?mainly because of the fajitas. While they are good, you get more tomatoes and vegetables than thesteak, chicken, etc which is fairly disappointing, but the restaurant as a whole will continue to be my go to for family gettogethers and special occasions. The food had amazing flavor and plentiful! Our server was very helpful when asked questions about choosing a dish and made sure... our drinks was never empty. For dessert, we shared the fried ice cream. Sorry, when it was delivered to our table we ate itquickly and didn't take a picture! The fried icream came plated on a small dish with the fried ice cream nestled in a crisptortilla bowl topped with whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate syrup.
