My husband and I went in last night to try it out for happy hour and stayed for a couple hours! I already can't wait to go back... again ! As soon as we walked in we we're acknowledged and greeted even though it was pretty busy so it was great to feelwelcome! The bartender and owner both came by pretty quickly to say hello and introduce themselves. I had the teriyaki sliders(SO GOOD!) And my husband had the Philly cheese steak and he loved it! They were very attentive, and kept communication with ourfood, it was great. We stayed for a while and watched the baseball game and chatted with the bartender .we had a great time! SUPER UNSANITARY!!! Went in for the game last night sat at the bar. I noticed that one of the men in the kitchen was preparing... food without gloves. He was licking his fingers and continued making food. The bartender was tasting drinks by drinking out ofthe glasses before taking them to customers. And once i notified him his response was "Well good thing is I used my own straw"???? On to the second man in the kitchen he was using gloves however he was scratching his face, wiping sweat from his forehead,and touching his hair. All with the same gloves he was making food with. I notified the bartender AGAIN that he might want tosay something to them because customers can see him. His response to that was "I know but there is only so much i can do from uphere. Im not the boss but i will let them know." You have got to be kidding me. And to top things off after telling thebartender about these things he was extremely irritated and you could tell that he poured out my drink before i was evenfinished. I let him know i wasnt done so he made another one so no big deal. But then told me and all of the other 8 people atthe bar that we were CUT OFF for being too loud. Like since when can people not talk in a bar? After last night i will never bevisiting them again. Which sucks because I live very close and it would be a nice place to watch the games. Oh well. I live in the neighborhood and was excited to try a new place within walking distance. It took forever to get our food. When we... did, one order was completely wrong, and the other two were not good. Each of us took a bite and decided we couldn?t finish it. Nonetheless, we were charged for 2 of the meals (despite letting them know the food wasn?t good and we weren?t eating it), aswell as the three teas we ordered that we sent back because they were sweet tea instead of regular (apparently it comes from thesoda machine and it was hooked up wrong). The only reason we got our money back was because the owner happened to go outside totalk on his phone as we were driving away and we complained. It?s too bad.
