Just went for the first time since the new owner took over. Pleasantly surprised. The owner is incredibly nice and genuine. We... ordered 3 blizzards with some extra stuff. Came here a month ago around an hour before closing, waited in line for 15 minutes only to then have a lady come and rudely tell... us they are closed. I was annoyed since when we leaving we saw people at the front of the line getting their ice cream and wewere the first car to be cut off (she told the people behind us to leave but not the ones in front of us), but I alsounderstood. Sometimes these places are understaffed or the workers are forced to do tons of work and forced to leave at acertain time whether or not the work is done. We went again tonight. After waiting in line for 20 minutes and approaching thewindow, we were told that the ice cream machine was broken and that we needed to leave. This was after watching the person twocars in front of us get their ice cream. Listen, I understand problems happen. And the lady was polite this time, so no ill willtowards her. But if I try to get ice cream there twice and both times I get rejected after waiting around 15-20 minutes, then Ihonestly just cannot recommend this Dairy Queen. Find a local ice cream shop instead. It was my son's birthday and I need it a simple order, I walked in to this place... so clean and was welcome by Estella ( the manager) .She was very courteous and took the time to show me different options forthe design, she also recommended the Oreo Cookie Cake and we loved ???? it.
