This place was pretty awesome. I'm 52 and I felt pretty comfortable here there was a bunch of older folks there dancing.

Well, I have to say, if you are looking for a real Texas dance hall-this is it. I went for a birthday-it was packed with real... live cowboys plus others, all ages. 4th of July weekend, we experienced live country music, reminded me of my grandparents anduncles growing up when they sang and toured a little back in the day: quality if you like country. I?m not a fan (I grew up inthe city of raves/techno in the 80?s;), but the nostalgia had a charm for me. Hats, beards, and jeans were the scene. Peoplewere dancing, staff friendly and singing to the music. It was packed after 10pm- parking lot filled with massive trucks andSUV?s. Located in the Waco suburb/Temple area-everyone seems to come here-native and new, old and young: dance floor, full bar,sports tv?s, and only a DOLLAR for pool?since when have you seen that?!!???????? Cover only $10. They are standard size pooltables, so it was easier to win every one I played. ???? Shhh...don?t tell anyone-I like to surprise my competition????...butI?m a closet pool fiend that plays a mean game. It?s all those years growing up with a pool table and best friend boys nextdoor.????????????It was fun listening to the real band in the background while we played! Side note: Ladies bathroom, in asudden surprise of the first stall, has some mighty nice black and whites of some local cowboys-sculpted and sleek in theirbarely there attire and tattoos-if that?s your sort of thing. ???????? Great country dancehall. Cheap drinks and free dance lessons on Thursdays.

I went there for a small Bachelorette party during their karaoke night. The atmosphere was really fun and felt full, even though... they weren't busy at the time. The bartenders were personable and very charming. Karaoke night was also a blast and I plan oncoming back. Read more
