Great Dominican snacks & food. The pizza "callejera" reminds you of eating a pizza "en el malecon" in Santo Domingo. Only thing... missing are the ice cold Presidentes to wash it down. Read more
I ordered from this place through Uber Eats. The food was disgusting. I ordered jaroa, cachapa and chicken quesadilla. The jaroa... was so dry because of old french fries. The cachapa was the worst because there was brown rotten lettuce and old tomatoes.Ingredients that will give you food poison. I had to take a picture of it and sent it to Uber Eats. I called the place as welland ask to speak to a manager and supposedly there wasnt one present at the moment. What bother me the most is how therestaurant sent me a $5 coupon stating how they sorry the order didn?t arrive well . They try to blame the delivery guy. Great Food. Authentic and well presented. Not too greasy or "empapada de mazola" thick with oil. Very generous portions. Quick... service and good taste. My only knock is i had ordered a big order for a few friends & a get together i had at home. The foodcame fast as I'm around the area by the 174th Train Station & my concern is that certain items were mixed up or honestly tradedfor something else. My order consisted mostly of egg empanadas for myself, the cuban style empanada that in the picture looksamazing, but when properly received it did not seem to be the same inside as advertized or perhaps it was mistakenly givenother ingredients because this delivery included what appeared to be chicken of some sort but really good still just not what iwas expecting when i took a bite. Lastly, I understand that mistakes happen and I have had them several times since then andmaybe I just expect too much from that specific empanada as it hasn't lived up to my expectation and what I have been visiblyanchored with, but I digress. I really hope this business does well because the owner, I believe his name is Henry if i'm notmistaken, seems like a genuine all around good dude who wants to progress and attain that piece of the American Dream we?re allso enamored with. I wish him luck as it's not hard to be an entrepreneur during these uncertain times. But if the food keepsknocking it out the park as it has been in conjunction with the deliveries being timely and effective (i know that last part isout of Empanadas & Henry's hands for the most part, but you need luck in order to succeed as well).
