To start..Our server was Joni...a very sweet..profession gentleman..I hope I got his name right ???? My husband and I had our... first visit today with a friend that works in the engineering department. The service was absolutely phenomenal..we had tochange tables due to a previous reservation and the manager was so professional and even comped us some cookies ???????? It was good but not great! My husband said the meatloaf was ok, but the crab cakes were delicious! The Caesar salad was good... and there was a lot of it! The manager that came by our table was awesome! We had more fun watching her run around and makingsure everything was perfect! She definitely cared that everyone enjoyed their meal. Our one major complaint was the gnats orsmall flies surrounding our table. One literally wanted to share my wine which was somewhat replaced by our waitress! We?llleave it at that. The Crab cakes were amazing.. it is an upscale kind of place. Love the atmosphere and it is right next to a beautiful hotel... Brownwood I believe. There were many things I would love to try on the menu.. everything looked amazing. Read more

I would think that some home made Spätzle would have been better than the small amount of sliced potatoes that were served(that they called potato salad). The chocolate lava cake was very good.
