Stopped in on 3 different occasions for 3 different meals. First one was lunch and the soup was delicious. Second time for... dinner and the battered mushrooms were still frozen when they were served. Third time for breakfast. Both mine and my partnerstoast and hash browns were burnt. Couldn't believe they left the kitchen like this. Watched others plates go by and therehasbrowns were cooked properly. Was to shy to send them back. Better attention is needed by kitchen and staff. Yummy food and nice portions. They sell everything from baked goods to gas. I had the blue cod, it was cooked perfectly, the... loaded fries are amazing. Only drawback was their gravy, it's watery and tasteless, most likely chicken gravy, which didn't gotoo well with the fries. Definately a place to try. I will be back. Read more
First time at MacPherson's but definitely will be back. Met an old friend and we had a relaxed reunion. Pickerel lunch was... fresh, perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned -- and served with a generous assortment of delicious sides. A most delectable(and substantial) meal. Spotless surroundings. Stopped in for lunch on our way home from the Dollar General Christmas Store & was pleasantly surprised by their eggs Benedict... options! My sister got the salmon Benny & I got the crab cake which we then shared. Both were very delicious, but I personallypreferred the crab cake one!
