Had there Wednesday prime rib special. Very good, and service equally good. Thursday burger specials also very good.
Perhaps for a big city with hundreds of cafes it would be forced by competition to be a four star cafe or so. But this is a gem... ???? in the historical town or Thomaston. No chain restaurant food here. The Ceasar salad came with anchovies as ordered. Themeat potatoes vegetables fish and even pickles were a local and fresh. A full bar and several beers on tap with many more inbottles. This is the real old town cafe. Read more
