This was my first time and it was a great experience. Waitress was friendly and attentive, food came out quick and hot. Had the... shrimp tacos with a flour shell, delicious. Not overly spicy but had great flavor and definitely recommend! Margaritas wereperfect as well. Read more
We love the Herrera family ! We started coming to the restaurant the first week they opened. We have had events there, and many... meals with friends and family. Everything is delicious. Great place to go outside your comfort zone, as they serve authenticregional food, not an American version. If you?ve never tried cactus, this is the place. My recommendation; Molcajete de laCasa. Called in an order for pick up/take out. Ordered: Loaded Nachos (soft), but enjoyable Wanted: Pico de gallo and guac Wanted: Dry... chips (asked for them, did not get them) Chicken Taquitos - Enjoyed Lengua Taco - Enjoyed Burrito el vaquerro - Thoroughlyenjoyed Ordered the mole because I read good reviews about it - it was okay This was what almost ruined the experience - Askedfor Molcajete saguaro, they gave me something different yet more expensive from the menu, didn?t realize it until I got to mydestination, which thankfully was not too far away, because I had to call them about the mishap and either request a refund orreplacement for what I actually ordered. The guy who answered the call saw that I had come and picked up my order and paid andhe offered to rectify the mistake by refunding the overage they charged and replace what was given in the initial order I pickedup with the correct item. It was inconvenient but corrected. I would definitely go back. The impression was a good business withintegrity. The food was flavorful and well seasoned. I love the atmosphere and when your walking in you could just smell that terrific food when they bring you to your seat you're... able to see all the nice artwork in each dining area even the back of your seats be it you're in a booth or a chair you feellike you're in Mexico with this artwork the food is amazing my husband who is very picky wants to go there so much which reallysurprised me and you can get a full dinner appetizers to alcoholic drinks non-alcoholic drinks great dinner and dessert it's aterrific date restaurant.
