Excellent experience as you would expect from a fine dining restaurant. What I really love is you get to interact with the chef.... Many ingredients are straight from their local farm to table. The most memorable dish was the duck and it has definitely stolenmy number 1 spot for a duck dish (Sorry Cafe Boulud). Should be considered in the Top 100 Canadian Restaurants! Came here for my bday and without missing a beat, they offered my... partner and I a free Rosé sparkling wine glass. The detail and ingredient from each serving was well thought of and presentedwith beauty. The owner used fresh produce from their own farm which makes it more special since it's locally sourced. I don'teat artichokes at all! And I can't understand how I could of eaten a 100 of them at Frilu. It just shows how each dish has adelicious and unique taste to each one of them. We normally have to go downtown to enjoy an intimate 10 course dinner and I'moverly happy to say that we have now found a locally date night experience. Read more
