The server was great but they were obviously under-staffed. Ordering online was okay but it forced you to go through a mountain... of booze before you get to pizza. I understand this for dine in but for take out? 1 of the pizza the crust was overcooked tothe point we couldn't eat it. Everything was just way more greasy then I remembered. I'll head to Parry's next time I guess. 1star off for website ordering 1 star off for burned pizza 1 star off for food quality 1 star added for a friendly helpfulserver even though she was working almost every section and being the host. Love this place! Called the night ahead and let them know I needed to pick up an order right at 11am. Was running late the next... day, quickly called and told them I'd be there a bit late and they said they already had my order set to go. Super happy aboutthat! Looked at order and even though requested extra cheese there wasn't extra on there. I've ordered extra before and know howthey can really pack it on and this wasn't the case. Waitress gave me extra chips to make up for it. I'll keep going to this OldChicago as it's been a fave for many years. They always try to make up for their mistakes. Read more
We ordered takeout and it was easily the most worst food we have eaten in a long time. The pizza had sun dried tomatoes that I... can only assume had gone bad as we love sun dried tomatoes. These were disgusting and it's flavor took over the whole pizza,even after picking them off. The giant cookie was clearly burnt, like inedible black burnt. We ended up throwing half of thefood out. This is one of my extended family’s regular restaurants. They’ve had great experiences thus far, save their last trip. My... cousin received his pizza with metal shavings in it. The waitress affirmed what they were and knew exactly where they came fromin the kitchen. We still left a generous tip but received no recompense for a potential situation with could’ve landed him inthe ER. Three stars for all the awesome past experiences and great food. Read more

In town from CA to visit family and this was at the top of my list to visit, LOVED old Chicago when I lived in Littleton years... and years ago. What an awfully disappointing experience!! We went here last night (Friday) at around 6pm. It took about 10-15minutes for anyone to acknowledge us, even with a groups of people who walked in behind us. The restaurant was only about halffull but the hostess said she needed go on a 20 minute wait because the kitchen was backed up. We couldn’t even sit down at atable and get a glass of water while we waited. Tried to go to the bar to grab a drink instead. The bar tender was dripping withannoyance and attitude. Literally rolled her eyes while speaking to us. Refused to acknowledge us until we finally flagged herdown. She wouldn’t give us drinks unless we were sitting down. I asked to speak to a manager about the complete absence ofcustomer service we were experiencing. A kid from the kitchen wearing a baby yoga hat came out with just as much interest as therest of the staff. We left absolutely baffled. By far the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had.
