Bob Evans is and has been short on staff. Many places seem to be struggling but Bob Evans particularly. We were in today for a... late lunch and the rudest middle aged male customer I have ever experienced came in with his mother. From the get go he wasrude, telling the waitress what she "should have said" while waiting for a seat. He then complained about how every table sheoffered him a seat at was dirty and how he has been in the restaurant industry blah, blah, blah. I walked back to the kitchenand the waitress was in tears and said she had to wait in them...she was the only waitress there. I have also been in thecustomer service field for many years and she was absolutely NOT waiting on that!! I asked for the manager. The customer noticedI was making a complaint and I walked over. He again was completely ridiculous and ended up getting kicked out of therestaurant. I wanted to give a review to applaud the young managers who told him to leave. I will say the customer is NOT alwaysright. Managers on shift today - Thank you for sticking up for your staff. Head up Dani, you did a nice job being our waitresstoday. Absolutely ridiculous when you wait for 20 minutes to be seated THEN told AT LEAST 30 minutes to be waited on BECAUSE the ONLINE... ORDERS COME FIRST??? THE MOST IDIOTIC WAY to run a business. Guess that will make people get up & walk out. WELL PLAYED BOBEVANS???? Read more
I have no idea what's going on but we waited 15 minutes to get seated in an almost empty restaurant. When she got to us, she... said there would be a 20 min. Wait. Wow! Why? It was empty!!!! Will not ever go back. Did go to Friches and had an enjoyablebreakfast. So, thanks for that. Read more
Went there at noon. Stood in the doorway for 15 minutes before anyone even greeted us and then got told there was another 20 min... wait. While half the place was empty and six servers stood around on their phones talking not doing anything. Just walked rightout. Horrible service. Read more
