I have enjoyed the food at Kokos over the last few years, I question now if I will eat there again. Being there for Mother?s Day... and either their chef was not there or somebody cutting corners we had the worst eggs Benedict I have ever had it was thenastiest tasting hollandaise sauce if it even was hollandaise. Topped with crab that had been frozen for years. Ordered a largeCaesar salad and for an additional $8.00 we added ?blackened? halibut, what a mistake. We got chopped up romaine with basicallyno dressing and a piece ?fried? fish the size of a fish stick. I realize being Mother?s Day it could have been overwhelming forthem, however, it was not busy at all. The servers at the bar below were very good, but we waited too long for our food to sendback so left it. Read more

Brunch this morning at Koko?s, I wanted to really enjoy it however I just couldn?t. When we arrived @ 11:30 with a reservation... the waitress seemed surprised. When she poured out water I was taken aback at the strong body oder. We ordered breakfast, 2eggs, bacon, sour dough toast and hash browns. It took more than 30 minutes for our food to arrive for our party of 5 eventhough it wasn?t that busy. Several tables who were seated after us had their food served before we received ours. When our foodarrived, I was served O?Brien potatoes that were not seasoned and not cooked through or even browned. I asked for hash brownsbecause my potatoes were not what the menu said, and I don?t care for peppers and onions in my potatoes . I started to eat mytoast, which was not sour dough as I ordered but white toast. Not the end of the world, but after the potatoes it wasdisappointing. When my side of hash-browns arrived, they too were undercooked and not seasoned. I decided not to say anything. The waitress was fine but not very interested in our table... long story short. My bacon was good and the eggs were cookedproperly. I would not eat there again. Not terrible but not good either. If I could have give 2 1/2 stars, I would have. Read more
