Really popular. We were surprised at how many people were already in the restaurant when we arrived. Lots of people in and out... the entire time. When we left there was a line of people waiting to get seated inside. The food was alright. Service seemed tobe struggling - the servers seemed tired and were very busy. I wanted to give this place a 4 star but between the food beingjust okay and the service could've been better, it just left a poor taste in our mouths. We had planned to stay for dessert butthey didn't ask so we ended up leaving because we just really felt uncomfortable being there. It was clean and a beautiful placeinside. I am curious to have come on a day other than a popular holiday (Labor Day - MANY of the coastal restaurants were closedand we had been searching for a place to eat for hours), they might have had better service. But even as we walked in, we allfelt ignored and our server acted like she didn't want to refill our waters. It took forever for the food to come and it justfelt like we were unwanted there. I'm guessing everyone was just tired but again it was still pretty lousy service. However itpretty swamped while we were there at 2 in the afternoon. Read more
Pretty good food. I really appreciated my waitress who saw I didn't like my meal. She came over & asked if everything was ok. I... told her it looked too oily & she immediately recommended a different dish & brought it to me in less than 5 minutes. They wereseriously busy too. She has very intuitive customer service & I really appreciated it, we never want to be a bother & understandrestaurant staff work really hard. I would gothere again for sure. Read more
The service was really good, the waitress was attentive and nice. Loved the beans and salsa with chips for appetizer and my wife... loves her margarita and would get another one if we were to stay longer. My food was good and the fam loved their taquitos, butI wouldn't say it was so good as the reviews gave it 5 stars. Read more
Have been going to La Mexicana for years now. Outstanding food and service. Best Mexican food I have ever had. We asked Carlos... (the owner) if he would cater our family reunion. Was taking a friend to Tillamook for the DMV and passed by the restaurant. I didn't even know it was there till then. On the... way home we stoped for lunch. Nice clean restaurant and friendly staff. We ordered a Pork Chile Verde taco salad, chickenFlautas, a Carne Asada plate, and a Pepsi. Chips, salsa, and beans came. The salsa has a bit of heat, it creeps up on you. Somind you I love heat (my daughter not so much) so when I say there's heat, ask for mild if you don't like heat. Lunch comes andit's wonderful. Nice bit of heat on the Carna Asada. They forgot the Pepsi but brought it when we asked. I should have tried theflan, LOVE flan.
