We have been going to Jo Jo Bistro formerly known as Joy Yee for the last 10 years. We started at the one in Chicago when we... used to live there. But ever since we moved to the Southwest suburbs and since I am Chinese, I need some authentic Chinese goodfood in the area! Tonight we ordered to go on a Thursday evening. I got the Thai Tom Yum seafood noodle soup which wasabsolutely delicious. I always asks for extra noodles for $3 charge but the broth is sooooo yummy I need more noodles for thesoup base. Plus I eat ALOT. I need extra noodles ???? My son got the lemon grass pork chops over rice and I added a fried eggand he said it was absolutely wonderfully seasoned. We got 2 pieces of pork chops which was great because boys can eat! We alsoordered the Korean Beef Japchae noodles and that was yummy too. Was it expensive? Well... everything nowadays is expensive. Forthe amount of food we got and how yummy it was, it was absolutely worth it and will be going back once a month as a specialtreat for sure. We normally get their mango tapioca but today it was kinda chilly so we opted out. So if you love fresh fruitsmoothie, get it! You will love everything there! Read more
Wow my experience here was fantastic! The waitress Hong’s service was great and talked and chat with us while me and my family... dined in. Food was great and the drinks are top notch. The new owners here are definitely an improvement from the old ownersbecause last time we ate here the amount was so little, but now we always have leftovers. Yummiest smoothies...still pretty true. There are new yummy drinks! Also dined in, and had Shrimp Spring Rolls (forgot to take... a pic), Beef short ribs, Shrimp Low Mein, and combination rice. All pretty tasty, although the combination rice wasunder-seasoned. Still a yummy place, to grab a bite. Very friendly staff! Read more
Quality has not changed at all under new management, in fact may be better. At my last visit, we dined in, ordered crab... rangoons, orange chicken, Chow fun and a taro milk freeze. All were excellent. Tried the brown sugar milk tea today and it mightbe my new favorite! Read more
