My pappy always told me never to eat anything bigger than my head. Obviously, he?s never been to Mi Tierra. The monster Chimi was that and more. To wash it down, the ultra-super-grande mango margarita which, if calculations hold true, measured in at around two quarts. As always, a fine meal served promptly by staff who want you to be happy. I may not oversize next time, but there will be plenty of next times.

First off I love coming here! Always been top of the line food! Quality along service! Unfortunately I ordered the cheese dip with my chips and it was so watered down along with no flavor! This has never happened. I understand having an off day, but was very easy to notice. The manager/owner not sure which came to my table to pick up plates and I said something to him. He did take it off my bill but had an attitude. Time to re-think my choices. Makes me sad. I loved it here!

Service was fast and friendly, margaritas were wonderful and the food is hands down the best in the area. Highly recommended, we will be back!

Update: we've been coming here for almost 2 years now and the food is still phenomenal. The customer service is still top notch. The staff is always so friendly. Update: We went to their new location today. It was so nice! The food is still amazing and the service is top notch. It is still our favorite spot to go for a nice meal. They have the BEST fajitas. The service is great. We've never had a bad meal there. It's a great locally owned business.

A lovely place with a good variety of options on the menu. The salsa had a good amount of cilantro in it and was quite delicious. I got the taco salad fajita with chicken, which had a nice creamy cheese sauce and what seemed to be a fried in-house shell.

This was my first time trying this restaurant and it was the best mexican i have ever had. The margaritas are fantastic and the steak fajitas are a must order. Will definitely go back once were in Iowa again.
