Beautiful spot, lovely server. Mediocre food. If you?ve spent anytime enjoying the great trattorias and small Italian spots that are all over Manhattan and Brooklyn then you are bound to be disappointed by Giobatta in this cute Hudson Valley town. Very little creativity in the food. Everything is under seasoned. The meatballs are dry and chewy, the pasta does not appear to be freshly made in house, the fried calamari (while perfectly tender and fresh) was overwhelmed with smoked paprika. The broccoli rabe was cooked to mush. The bolognese was an abomination. The great staff and beautiful space can?t save this place from the kitchen?s lack of skills. We have given it three tries now and want to love it so badly like so many others in the area do.

Review from a local ------ It's common that many restaurant owners are on drugs or drinking on the job. But this experience really made top 3. A family member called to simply inquire about a panna cotta that was bought here, which was basically 2 weeks old according to the bar code. The owner started SHOUTING and asking if there was mold --- no, but are you proud to serve non- fresh items at that price?? He proceeded by saying he was "getting very annoyed"*** and to "never come back again". Don't worry about that, we have been regulars since you opened but no more. Also we supported your business all through out the pandemic. CiAO!! Also I wouldn't let this one experience completely effect my rating of a local business. However after frequenting here enough (not much choice there are only 3 other restaurants in this town) and giving multiple chances, the food here is average at best. They charge high prices and can get away with it because of the tourism. And the vegan rating for this place is a zero, I had one "vegan" pasta dish that was naked with no sauce and some measly zucchini tossed together. I am disappointed as well to realize they have been adding on a large 18% gratuity when I have already been tipping very generously.

Fantastic Italian food, always good wine, superior, incredibly nice service. Comfortable front deck or lovely dining room. I've been here numerous times and will go back as long as I'm in Tivoli.

Lovely Italian food in a beautiful building. Service was good. It is stated very clearly on the menu and the bill that they add an 18% gratuity, so keep that in mind.

Nice Italian restaurant, you can buy Imported goods and have a breakfast here. This time i went for lunch and everything was good. Goat cheese gnuti are worth a try. The tiramisu was too big and not to my taste.

Amazing. Be warned: no pasta before 5pm. Our dishes were delicious: mushrooms, broccoli rabe, eggplant parmesan, and amazing dessert. Heart stopping variety of grappa's!

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a bit now and finally went today. We were not disappointed! Delicious Italian food! We started with arancini, which were great, as was the sauce they were accompanied by. My wife got the Parma panini (prosciutto, mozzarella, and tomato), and I got the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese. Both excellent. Dessert was expresso and tiramisu. Again both excellent with the tiramisu made as it should be! Chef Francesco definitely knows what he's doing and the staff was friendly and attentive as well. Highly recommended!

What could be better than handmade pasta, delicious wine, and a beautiful outdoor balcony? This place is incredible. Definitely worth checking out. Also their desserts are made in house - we had the chocolate torte and the tiramisu. Both were light and savory. Will definitely be back as soon as possible.
