I think this is one of the best sit down restaurants in Tobermory. I started with a Basket of Shrimp, which was amazing, and had... the Fish Taco as an entree. Also got a mimosa and a Caeser (which is a Bloody Mary back home). Read more
Pros: - terrace is very nice, shaded, beautiful view - service was good, did not have to wait too long for food (although the... table was not cleared) CONS: - salad was about half the size of what it should be as a main meal - rice bowl had something init (canned mushrooms?) that was definitely beyond its best before date - pasta had no taste - veggie burger - asked for it tohave nothing spicy and the patty itself was quite spicy- should have told us when we ordered Don?t recommend Read more
At first, me and my family got confused in where was the entrance to dine in. The door is facing where the sign of tobermory... princess hotel is. The service was great, it was a bit packed when we came but we were able to have seatings. The portion ofthe food was good. It was fresh and well cooked, but the breakfast didn't amaze me in terms of flavour. My parents loved itthough! I'd wish it was delicious enough for me to get a reaction. This restaurant was a good one for us service was awesome yes we did wait a bit without knowing where to wait till we did get... the attention from the bar but they were busy so it is somewhat understandable but still when someone is there standing youshould attend to them as soon as possible, but the service was awesome the food was good and the scenery was nice I say comegive it a try. We went to Pharos during our stay at Tobermory. We had both Lunch and Dinner at Pharos. First of all, this place was one of the... few places open till late and with options for vegetarian people. The Classic club house sandwich had bland chicken. The pork inthe shish kabob was rubbery. The quantity of rice in the Greek Goodness rice bowl was half of what it should have been for ameal. We ordered falafels and it was tasty. For dinner, we ordered pasta. The vegetarian pasta just had boiled pasta with cansauce . Not worth the price. I would not have recommended the place but its one of the few places for vegetarians at night. Read more
