Great tasting thin crust pizza. Good customer service. Downstairs is the pizzeria with some booth seating. Upstairs is the bar... and more tabletop seating. Order your pizza at the counter, have a seat and they will bring it to you, either upstairs ordownstairs. Want a cocktail? Go up stairs and bring it down. Want pop? That's available downstairs from the fountain machine. The bar is a cozy atmosphere upstairs, and the pizzeria downstairs is kid/family appropriate. We enjoyed our visit. Read more
We love this place! Great food, decent prices and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. However I am curious what area... of New York this is authentic to. Growing up in New Jersey 20 minutes from NYC and my father growing up and living in Manhattanfor most of his life, we were both perplexed about the ?authentic New York pizza? part. This is no where near the authentic NYCpizza that we?re familiar with. (Not a huge deal, just a strange advertisement). HOWEVER; it really doesn?t matter because westill absolutely love it. I will rave about home slice until the cows come home. Best pizza in Toledo. Always kind staff, always good pizza, always a good... choice. Only thing I wish I could change is their boxes. This is one of the best pizza place in Toledo downtown. Pizza taste so good! Not only pizzas are thin crust and it perfect... amount of cheese, other ingredients and thinly chopped vegetables. I am from north east and NY/NJ has one of the best pizza butI think Home Slice pizzas are better than lot of those places. If you ever in downtown Toledo, do not miss this place.
