Loved loved loved eating here! The establishment had such an old time feeling, classic, and homey. My niece and I arrived at... the wrong time... lunch time. They were busy! But we were able to sit at the counter where we sat right in front of thecommercial stove and the cook. I got to see that Schmuckers does use fresh ingredients: hamburger patties that are not frozen, hand patted; fresh cut fries (potatoes); fresh eggs; homemade pies! We just had to take some slices home with us since we wereso stuffed after our meal. I had a meatloaf plate with brown gravy and mashed potatoes... yes, they were NOT out of a box. Youcould actually feel some small chunky pieces. My niece had scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and biscuits and gravy. It was allso delicious. I regret not going back to eat one of their handburgers, had I not be running out of time and also being that I amfrom out of town (TX). The only thing that I would have changed about the burger ( I watched them make a few while I was there)is that I would have asked them to toast my buns. All-in-all, I would so go back. For now I have to wait to eat there untilmaybe next year on my next vacation/visit to my brother's. But I am for sure heading in that direction. Oh! I almost forgot...my niece and I both loved the establishment, the food and it's employees. Everyone was very friendly and super outgoing. Read more

Pretty good! Get here early or you will be waiting outside. Fairly small place. Wish they did substitutions on their menu as I... think meat is probably more money than eggs, which is what I wanted. We also got pies to go which were delicious Read more

Love this place, great food, great service, great people and takes you back to days when Diner's were Diner's. So nostalgic to... the time before even I existed and family owned reflected it. Must go place! Read more

Rolled into this est. 1948 mom n pop restaurant and planted ourselves at the counter/bar...the place was hoping and the air was... mixed with savory aromas of fresh grilled food. We were promptly met with our server Erika who took our order. As we gazedabout the place locals were chatting it up and it seemed no one had the same food on their plate. Our food came hot andtasty...we were impressed with our food and the lagre crew who all had smiles and their cool. There was a line to get in and wesaw many dishes of pie and ice cream shuffle by as we made our exit. This one gent said on Thanksgiving there usually is about100 people lined up to get pie. I recommend getting in here when in the area and make your belly happy. LamingasPilvas...Lithuanian. Read more

This place was electric. I sat down at the counter and saw the whole show going down. They have an old fashion diner feel to the... place and the ladies behind the counter are all rushing around pumping food out of the kitchen. Wimpy Burger and Banana Pie wereboth great. I even bought a T shirt and the bill was only $25. Read more
