I usually drive further down the street to the other Taco Bell bc this one is so bad. Gave it another chance and was remind how... terrible it was tonight. Our beefy five layer wasn?t a five layer. Had chips and beans all over it. The cheese cups were coldand half full. And the nacho fries were cold and soggy. Also made each person wait to order until the person in front of themordered and got all the way through the drive through and got their food. Went through the drive thru, was rushed to order. After everything I asked for, I was asked "is that all". Can never follow... directions, I am highly allergic to tomatoes and had asked for no tomatoes on everything. It ALL had tomatoes. Mexican pizzaswere finally back on the menu, nothing but beans, got the nacho supreme for my daughter and asked light on the beans, nothingbut beans. Customer service is nothing like I was before. Waited for about an hour for food and (most) of the staff treated us poorly. I worked in food service for about 7 years so I... know what they have to deal with on a daily basis and I know the work flow of an establishment like this, and that?s why I cansay with certainty that no one on that shift was doing much more than standing around. At first I thought it was understaffedand felt bad but at one point about 7 people showed themselves in the window at once so I know it wasn?t a staffing issue. Myfriends and I (who have just about as much food service/management experience as I do) also commented on how bad the servicewas. The wait was extremely long but I wasn?t shocked by that, because most fast food places have been like that since covid inmy experience. What made the ordeal bad was that we had waited in line for about 40 minutes (I had already paid on the app so Iwasn?t about to just drive away) and as we got to the window, they didn?t once open it to acknowledge us or make us aware of anyadditional wait, and we proceeded to wait at the window for an additional 20 minutes. During those 20 minutes we watched threegirls just standing and talking to eachother- getting themselves drinks from the fountain, telling stories, etc. Now I know fromexperience that sometimes there isn?t anything you can do but wait for certain things, the issue was that we were never spokento and they did this plainly in view of the window, not caring at all. At least hide I guess. We finally got our food and thelady at the window was lovely when handing it out and the only one who was enjoyable through the whole experience. There was oneitem I ordered and I?ve received it wrong multiple times from other Taco Bell?s in the past so I immediately opened it to checkbecause there was no way I?d make my friends wait in that line again to get my one item fixed.
