My family and I went to this Texas Roadhouse on a Sunday evening for dinner. We did a “call ahead” reservation so we... didn’t have to wait too long. Once we checked in, we waited in the parking lot for about 5 minutes before getting called in.Upon entering the restaurant we told the servers that we got called about our table being ready, but we still had to wait anadditional 10 minutes! Once we sat down our table was clean and tidy. The food on the other hand was average. The food felt likeit wasn’t as good as it could be, probably because it was super busy so they needed to rush the food making? I asked for amedium well burger and got a medium burger. The mashed potatoes didn’t have much flavor even with the butter added onto it.The shrimp and steak were cooked well. Our servers were friendly but there were quite a few mistakes that were made on theirpart with forgetting to give us some of our food items. I’ve had Texas Roadhouse before and I know the true potential it haswith the quality and taste of food from other locations so I’m hoping this isn’t the type of food and service they alwaysbring to the table at this location. Driving across the border just to eat here, and let me tell you, this doesn't disappoint. Service is amazing, very friendly down... to earth workers. My little one wanted to have a bigger glass of drink, and Alyssa delivered it without hesitation. I got friesinstead of rice on my meal, and again it was an easy fixed. Unlimited fresh bread, yummm. The best kid's meal selection! Noplace offer steak for kids meal, but this place does. All steak were perfectly cooked. Mini burgers for kids came with crustybread, just a bit hard to eat when your kid doesn't have both front teeth. Will be back for sure ordering starters. Price can'tbe beat with what we had. It has been a few years since I dined at Texas Roadhouse and everything still looks the same minus the peanuts. Our group walked... in around 7 pm to a busy restaurant, we were seated within 10 mins. I would recommend calling in to avoid waiting. Upon seatingwe were served fresh dinner rolls with cinnamon butter. My 20 oz bone in rib-eye was cooked to my desired temp, accompanied withhouse salad and fresh veggies. Both food and service was great. Delicious steak for a reasonable price! I always enjoy the loaded baked potato as well. Fun atmosphere and friendly staff.
