We had a great dinner party here for a 10 person group from a small conference . The food was so good and plentiful that... everyone had plenty to take home. The tasting menu was near perfect. In this outstanding group were the exceptional lambskewers, and the various sorts of pizza. The pasta was sublime and the lamb shank superb. Read more
I popped into Bar Altura Bar for a drink and was immediately blown away by the quality of service and food / drink offerings.... Perfect spot for a classy but unpretentious date or dinner with friends. We went for their Thursday for some buck a shuckoysters and half priced bubbly and are excited to return for their Wednesday Pizza deal. Cozy and clean atmosphere! I went to Bar Altura on Saturday for a friend's birthday. I am unfortunately on an extremely strict doctor's ordered food plan... for a few weeks. I hated being that person to ask for gluten free, dairy free, tomato free etc etc and would have just stayedhome had it not been a good friend's night out as options were very limited. Our server was more than understanding and the chefwas more than accommodating. They had gluten free pasta and created an oil based "vegan" pasta sauce for me that was delicious. I would highly recommend this place. Our entire party was over the moon with the quality of food and service. The kale caesarsalad was said to be the best they have ever had! 10/10 will be back when I can enjoy more on the menu! :) Read more

Beautiful bar with cozy and yet modern interior which was one of the reasons I wanted to check this place out. Good quality of... service and calm ambience make you very relaxed. Gave 4 star instead of 5 as their 1$ oyster deals on Thursdays was not ideal.size of the oysters were very small, so a bit disappointed for that. Read more
