Haddock given was very thin, I bought it for a group dinner with other fishes and was very disappointed to only be eating batter... for most of the meal. Company said the other fishes were good, just not haddock. Fries were also very oily but it was fine.Would need to try other dishes if I visited again. Read more
Disclaimer: I?m British and grew up by the coast in the UK so I may be a little biased! Absolutely blown away by the Cod and... chips here. Really lovely batter, light and crispy. The chips/fries were fantastic and really tasty. It included coleslaw andtartare sauce and plenty of condiments available including proper malt vinegar. Ordered their catfish dish, popcorn shrimp and seafood platter. The shrimp were amazing and the catfish (which was my first time... trying) was absolutely divine. The seafood platter was good too, which came with calami, shrimp and some other white fish(delish). The catfish and shrimp tasted the best in my opinion. The fries were great and the coleslaw was divine. One of thebest I've tasted! I don't usually dine out for fish n chips but had a craving and I'm glad I found this place. Will order fromthem again! We tried the Haddock and Chips(5 entrees) for the first time today as we were visiting my daughter in Toronto for lunch. It was... absolutely delicious,loved the batter on the fish,it was a little different than the norm in most fish and chip stores ,but weall loved it, and plenty of fries for all.
