Finally, proper Hakka in the Junction. Once I discovered chilli chicken, I became addicted. And it?s very specific needs that us... addicts have. Proper portion of chicken to rice. Proper texture of the chicken. The right spice level. The option of dry orgravy (always gravy for me). This place nails it all. I used to drive to Rexdale to get Hakka. Now, Hakka Heaven is my quickwalk to satisfy that craving. I?ve also had the hot and sour soup, and it is excellent as well. I can?t wait to try the othermenu items. This place is a gem! A newly opened place which is a must try for Hakka lovers, especially for those who frantically search for... Hakka cuisines with a South Asian spicy flavour profile. Unlike most of the Chinese Hakka restaurants, this one offers a lot ofdifferent varieties in the menu, and you will be able to mix and match. Another thing that amazed me was the price point, forexample, a lunch menu consisting of a spring roll, curry (mix and match) and fried rice is just 14$ per person! We tried theirspicy fried momo, soup and the 14$ lunch menu. Their momos were to die for! The owner is a really nice and lovely person. I?vealready become a regular at this place.
