Hit or miss. I've ordered from Krispo a few times and sometimes it's been perfect. Crispy, crunchy chicken, just what you'd want... and expect. Other times it'll be almost soggy, like the the chicken wasn't fried at the right oil temperature. So I'd say youhave a 50/50 chance of having some really great fried chicken. When it's good, IT'S GOOD, so I really hope this place getsbetter with consistency because there's a lot of great potential here. UPDATE: Have to change my review to a one star. The lasttwo times I ordered from Krispo the pieces tasted like they were fried the day before, left out, then reheated. The breading wasstraight-up stale. The first time this happened I gave them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they were having a bad day orsomething, but two times in a row? I was hoping this place would sort out the consistency issues I mentioned in my first reviewbut they've actually gotten worse. For the price you're paying ($15 after tax for four pieces), it's unacceptable. Popeyes isliterally a 30 second walk north of this Krispo location. I would just order something from there next time. Absolutely love the Wicked Sandwich from Krispo! We have only ordered through UberEats due to the pandemic, and our food has... always arrived quickly. It's also packed well, and stays hot and super crispy. I have had a lot of fried chicken sandwiches,and Krispos is hard to beat. I order from them a few times a month and I can never get enough. Highly recommend giving thisplace a shot if you love crispy fried chicken! Read more
