although I do not share the vegan religion, this cafe made an impression. I was invited by my niece to meet with her and some other girls. the atomosphere was very pleasant, slightly felt myself like in LA. The avocado toast I ordered was very tasty, the vegan burger didn?t impress me, but maybe because I?m not a vegan, and I usually expect some meat in a burger ha ha; However, I will definitely come here again. The food is fresh, tasty, the waiters are super nice
The vibes were amazing. If anything, go for the aesthetic pictures. The food was okay. For a dish with so many ingredients, the tacos and burger had no flavour. But the staff were so friendly that it was worth it. The brownie is the best brownie I have ever eaten in my entire 28 years of life.
Ideal place to bring your date! Aesthetic interiors combined with delicious food. And the service is special. The food was delicious, we were so hungry, I couldn't click pics ?. We tried the Tofu Benedict and the burger along with Brussel sprouts - Lip smacking. Abby our waitress today was amazing. She and her colleagues were grappling with a slow kitchen (short staffed). While our order did take longer than anticipated, she made sure we were informed and brought our appetizer with a comment that she nipped it off another table. True or not, it was warm and seemed like she was genuinely taking care of us. Please do visit their washrooms, they are gorgeously designed. The use of wallpaper and plants across the restaurant was really good.
First time was for my birthday dinner (Friday night) and it was nice overall. Portions are quite small. Second time I came here (Sunday afternoon) I left without eating despite waiting an hour for my food and the place was practically empty. I?d say the interior decor is the best part about this restaurant. It?s a dream with the green plants, velvet upholstery and golden metal finishes. But the service can be extremely slow even when the restaurant is mostly empty. First visit: Calamari was the best, pesto gnocchi was great too, and the beet tartare looked pretty but it could be skipped. Second visit: I ended up waiting 50 minutes for a Coconut Curry. I asked my waitress and she said it was coming soon. I observed that there was literally three tables inside all who were about to leave and a burger that was just made so basically either they missed my order or burned it. Either way, I could tell it was not coming anytime soon so I just left. If I were them, I would have given my guest some chips or bread to nibble on instead of continuing the wait while others are being served their drinks. I was quite disappointed with their service and how they handled it. So if you?re really hungry, I wouldn?t pick this place. If you want to impress a date and pick at food, then this is a gem.
I had planned to order the lasagna and kimchi fries, but neither were available on the day I went. The gnocchi was good though! The tacos were my favourite, and the staff are friendly. What's not to love about a beautiful interior, good service and delicious fresh food ? I can't wait to return.
One of my favourite vegan restaurants in the city! In the heart of King St. West, this place is to die for when it comes to an intimate friend gathering or date night. The quality of food and drinks, presentation, prices, ambience and aesthetics don?t disappoint. I have always found the service here exceptional which makes the experience so much more worthwhile! If you are in the area looking for some really good, healthy, wholesome food, make sure to stop by! I would recommend always calling beforehand and making a reservation as well. The hosts are accommodating!
Stunning, bright ambiance with planters hanging on the ceiling. I was not too impressed by the Katrine Salad, as it was a bit bland. I did like the bit of tangy and herbaceous dressing that came with it. I would definitely go for the burgers here, my friend loved the mushroom burger! The sweet potato fries and aïoli were also great.
Visited on Friday and absolutely loved the vibe. I couldn't get enough of the way they've decorated the place. In terms of food, we started with the dumplings, they came hot and crispy. So good! I ordered the King Fu burger and my friend got the lasagna. Great portion sizes and I enjoyed the burger.
