It is hard to find good South Indian food in Toronto as typical South Indian food you have to go to outskirt such as Scarborough... Brampton or Mississauga. The dosas here are quite good as are the appetizers. The staff are on the younger side so theirattentiveness is not as good as it could be. Read more
Visited on Sunday, June 3 for dinner. All the food minus the dosa tasted excellent, service was mediocre. That being said, the... food was tasty enough and pretty authentic so we thought we?d definitely come back. The cheese in the dosa just didn?t tasteright so we avoided that dish and didn?t get through more than half of it. By the time we paid off our bill we startedexperiencing food poisoning symptoms and had to rush home. It?s the next morning and we have violent food poisoning. We had toskip work today and as I type this I?m still in pain. The taste of the food isn?t worth the pain. Authentic south Indian food !! The food is delicious but spicy.. anything above medium spicy is madly hot here.. ????. We... ordered the Prawns masala dosa, Masala Rava dosa, and chicken biryani. Food is delicious but spicy.. we had to order Buttermilkto cope with the spice level but even buttermilk was spicy ????????. The staff is attentive and service is up to the mark. Themenu is extensive. I would say Non-veg dosa is a specialty of Madras Masala. The staff truly cares about the customerexperience. Amazing tasting food and great quality. So glad I came across this place and will definitely eat here again. Service was quick... and waiter made sure we had everything. An additional bonus is free parking right at their location, which is a big plus forbeing downtown. Would recommend 100%. Read more

This was by chance discovery! I was little apprehensive since not very many places serve authentic food but this place came as a... surprise. We ordered Mysore masala dosa and mutton masala dosa. I?m so used to the Mysore masala kinds but mutton masala knockedme out! The filling was not the usual mince meat with little amount rather it had a portion of a bowl size chunky goat meatwhich was soooo delicious!! The service was very comforting. It felt as if we knew the servers already. I will surely go back totry other items on the menu for sure.
