Maybe I don?t love bao? I haven?t figured it out yet. The flavours were nice but I feel like there?s too much bread?... baoverwhelmingly so. Would love more stuffing to compliment the neutrality of the dough, a girl can dream I suppose. This place was lowkey overpriced and kind of plain?? Like we got the mapo tofu, pork bao, and cold noodles, and they were all... ok. The bao? $6.65. i?m used to a yummy braised pork belly bao, but this one was a roasted one (which is totally ok!) but itwas really plain and expensive. mapo tofu? $12.45. it was so bland. it had purple rice which was so yummy, but there was NOmapo tofu sauce and the tofu chunks were big :( we had to ask for more sauce and got chili oil , which helped a little! coldnoodle? $8.40. The noodles were buckwheat noodles, which we didn?t expect, but was good! The toppings were like normal bimbimbaptoppings. overall it was okay? prob the best thing we tried today! Loved my Bao, (my favourite was fried chicken) delicious, it took around 10 min to be ready. Service was nothing special.
