Extremely expensive food ($110++) that has lovely texture but very little flavour. No wow factor from the kitchen. They are good... with accommodating allergies. Service is self-serve family-style sharing which is difficult with a group. This is ultimately abeginner Chinese banquet restaurant for non Asian guests who have never been to luxury Chinese banquet restaurants! We won't bereturning. Read more
Great place for first dates - really loved the ambiance and the service was attentive. The food was nothing special, overhyped... and overpriced. We ordered shrimp toast - extremely greasy and the shrimp filling was a little mushier than I like (or usedto). I had high expectations on the char siu from all the raving reviews, but it was 70% fat and to be honest we brought theleftovers home but never ate it because of how fatty it was. The portion was huge, I?d give them that. I wasn?t a huge fan ofthe sauce for the belt noodles, it was overly sweet. The stuffed chicken wing was the best tasting thing out of ourmeal! Overall, it?s a cute restaurant but nothing special. If you want to score a seat, just give them a call vs reservingonline. We called and got same day seats for a late night dinner (9pm). Read more
There is a long waitlist but if you can make it, it is worth the wait. The attention to detail is exceptional. Mimi puts a... classic twist on fine dining Chinese cuisine. We tried almost everything on the menu but the highlight definitely was the charsiu and the steak for mains and every single dessert. We loved the little panda cocktail and the seating and set up made us feellike we were at a swanky Chinese restaurant. Of course the foot long noodle was a must! Read more
perfect place for a birthday celebration! I had high expectations going in and Mimi exceeded them all. Every dish was perfectly... cooked and had deliciously balanced flavours. We had 6 dishes and I could not pick a favourite if I tried...they were all tooamazing. Read more

Went for dinner, the food, absolutely incredible! All the portions are definitely sized for sharing as the menu says. The... service is more relaxed. It's not the type of place for a quick bite. Our waitress was super polite and helped us with the menu,making a few suggestions. The bar staff is unbelievably knowledgeable. We asked to be surprised with something not too sweet andspirit forward. What we got was something so incredible that we did it again. Couldn't even tell you what it was called, butit's definitely worth the risk. We definitely got carried away with trying a lot of food and the drinks, but if you keep itslightly modest, the value is very good. Read more
