The most delicious shio and shoyu broths made from mussels, clams, pork and chicken. Small portion (one slice of pork, half an... egg, one slice of fish cake) but good quality. We also enjoyed the cucumber salad. Gorgeous interior design (casual), nicebasement bathrooms, and helpful service. Highly recommended! Well done, Mitchell Bates and team! Read more

The ramen here is excellent. Notably, the noodles' texture is super interesting (in a good way) and the roast pork belly is... amazingly tender. There aren't many spots, so would recommend only for small groups of 2-4. Definitely give this spot a try ifyou're in the area. Read more

Had high hopes for this ramen place, but it wasn?t for me. Tried coming here twice before but it never seemed to be open when I... tried. I finally was able to go with my parents recently but was disappointed with the food. The restaurant itself is cute, butfairly small so seating is limited even late into the afternoon. We sat at a bar area but they let us move when a table openedup. We each ordered a ramen, I ordered the sweet corn mazemen, my parents ordered a shoyu and a shio. We also ordered assortedtempura. The tempura came first. It was alright. Wasn?t bad, wasn?t stellar. My corn ramen was broth less but it was prettytasty, though I found the portion a little small for $23. Both my parents ramens were super bland. I?ve read a lot of previouscomments here complimenting how clear and light the broth is here but?like?it?s just bland. Maybe I just don?t get it. The brothalso wasn?t even hot? The meat didn?t really taste like anything either. The noodles they use here also weren?t my favourite butperhaps that personal preference. The portions again weren?t generous and I feel like you?d be a lot more satisfied at anynumber of other ramen places in the city and would cost less. Read more

We got there around 7:10 pm and waited roughly 15 minutes for a seat for 3 people. The place was crazy busy but the service was... still amazing! I had the Shoyu Ramen with an extra pork belly and we ordered a side of karaage and croquettes. The karaage wasreally soft and juicy and is a must try! The croquettes had curry inside and were so soft and warm! In my opinion the broth wasa bit too salty to my liking but the noodles had an excellent texture. In total we had 2 Shoyu, 1 Shio Ramen, 1 karaage, and 1croquettes and the bill was roughly $95 before gratuity. Overall the place was great and is a definite must try! They only takedebit and credit and no cash so make sure you have a card ready with you. Read more

Came here for dinner on the weekend. We ordered: chicken karaage, shoyu ramen, and sweet corn mazemen (seasonal special). Pros:... their curbside pawtio is dog-friendly! Karaage was juicy and accompanied with a cooling creamy dill dip. Shoyu ramen pork bellywas melt-in-your-mouth. The sweet corn mazemen had chunks of fried shrimp patty (same patty as their shrimp burger) and adelicious chili oil. Cons: Service was slow. Ramen broth, while tasty, lacked an essence of creaminess and richness. Pricepoint is higher than other ramen places, especially the seasonal special dishes. Overall: 4 woofs out of 5. Read more
