My friends really enjoy beer and wanted to try this place out, I do not like beer but do very much enjoy german food. My friends... really enjoyed their beers saying it was fresh and went down easy. The food we ordered was amazing, the pork was so good and thesaurkraut was fresh. I really enjoy a good mustard was rather disappointed it tasted much like wasabi. I am sad to not have notseen they had pretzels as someone else posted, I would have loved one of those! I suppose that means my friends and I will haveto return at some point! Over all the place was pretty clean. The bathrooms have a button that activates some kind of discolight show. I did not care for the picnic style tables to sit on but it wouldn't effect my decision to not return in future. Thefood is definitely worth coming back for. Read more
Stopped by for a quick snack. We got the pretzel and mustard and a dessert special. The mustard was really strong (wasabi-like)... so we recommend getting the add-on of the beer cheese. The dessert was a spicy peach cheesecake which was amazing! Food can bepricey, so be ready to spend. Read more
Otto’s Bierhalle deserves more than 5 stars. What the heck. This place has no business going THIS HARD with their... schweinshaxe. It blew my family away. The pork hock is crispy on the outside and the meat inside is fall-off-the-bone soft,moist, and juicy. Also literally the best french fries I have had. GREAT beer selections. Servers are super kind and helpful. Iwill be returning and recommending this place left and right. Read more
The food is phenomenal. And the service is very hospitable as always. It’s a hidden treasure place for someone who wants try... the authentic German food in GTA. We hosted our wedding for 100 guests here — amazing experience, space and food. Not only is the beer selection exceptional but... their cocktails were spot on and delicious. Everything served was a hit with our guests - pork knuckle is not to be missed. Joshand his staff went over and above to make us feel special. Even the custom burgers — McDonald’s cheeseburgers were the bestburgers I’ve had here with perfectly seasoned and crunchy, thin pickles, the little chopped onion, ketchup and mustard… Istill wish I took more and froze em ????.
