Rolltation offers sushi burrito or poké that's currently trending in town. Well, I came for the poké as who wouldn't want a... colourful bowl of fish. Yes the salmon was delicious (on the fatty side), and I opted for extra salmon thinking the portionmight be small. It wasn't so I was stuffed. The bowl was also filled with avocado, tangerine, lettuce, corn and carrot slices ontop of rice. It made for an interesting balance of savoury and sweet flavours. The crunchy purple tempura bits were enjoyable atfirst, though there seemed to be too much sprinkled all over my bowl. The service was quick and friendly. I ordered the Classic Salmon sushi burrito and it tasted fantastic. The service was also super quick and friendly. However, I... realize that the seaweed does not hold everything well once you start biting into it. It can get messy if you don't hold itproperly and food starts to fall apart. The rice that they used tasted good but it felt a bit off to me. It did not remind me ofthe standard rice from a sushi restaurant. A tiny bit more pricey than other sushi burito/ poke places. The place is like Subways so it's a little confused to order if... you're the first time there. FOOD: decent amount of fish, everything is customized which I love that. I order salmon, lettuce,mango, cucumber and Wasabi mayo sauce. I made a mistake by having extra sauce. Their Wasabi mayo is really hot, more spicy thanfrom other places. INSIDE: mostly takeout so the restaurant is empty most of the time. SERVICE: the guy at the order counterwas pretty tired, however he did manage to keep professionalism, so no complaints. Read more
Though the food was amazing, the service was not so great. My friends and I were ordering but due to masks and the plexi glass... they had, it was a bit more difficult communicating as they were already speaking quietly. We asked them to repeat a couple oftimes but they seemed annoyed with us. Back to the food part, I loved the variety of ingredients and colour of this bowl andnot only does it look and taste wonderful, it also contains a spectacular amount of protein!
