Came here with a group of 10 on a weekday afternoon and they were able to accommodate, food was really good, we all had pasta... and everyone loved their food. A few of us got cocktails but didn?t really feel the alcohol in them, but they were cheap forToronto prices (9$ per cocktail) I got this shrimp linguine with asparagus and pesto cream sauce it was unreal and big portion! Valens is predominantly an Italian Cuisine with a tall menu. Angelica our server is humble, kind and helpful. The prix fixe... menu is a 3 course meal which is excellent for its price and the portions are reasonable. The restaurant is clean and organized. We had the garden salad, lamb shank ( melts in your mouth) with vegetables, mash potatoes and crèmè Brule with anadditional side order of 3 sliders ????. Quiet, unassuming, no frills Italian restaurant with phenomenal service and a very reasonably priced menu (especially their prix... fixe menu) and great food! Will definitely be back! Read more
The prix fixe lunch is a great deal here. You get a very filling 3-course meal for under $30 with a range of options to choose... from. Of course it's not gourmet Italian, but I'm not going to nitpick at this price point. My seafood linguine was full ofclam and shrimp! It was tasty and satisfying. The sweet potato soup was a little pedestrian, but I didn't mind it. The hazelnutchocolate tarfuto dessert was pretty much just ice cream... good ice cream! Overall, great bang for your buck.
