Met my friend Mickey Rourke from Hollywood there. We had high tea and talked about his new film, boxing and his tiny tiny... dogs. We’ve always wanted to try the afternoon tea experience at the King Edward hotel after passing by the sign outside the hotel... many times. We are so glad we did! Service was great. We tried the Darjeeling 2nd Flush and Chocolate Truffle teas, and orderedfrom the Garden menu with a glass of Prosecco. We came for high tea on a sunday afternoon. The actual ballroom was a little bit dated, and the tea was not too flavourful. The... sandwiches overall were great, however, and we also ordered a glass of champagne. Overall I believe it is not worth the price,but still a fun little lunch if you haven't experienced high tea before. Read more
