We shared a calamari, and I got the pork congee. So much flavour packed in each dish. The restaurant is pay at front counter and... sit among communal beautifully decorated small tables with bar stools. Friendly atmosphere but the music was very loud thatnight which can make it difficult to chat with your friends if they're sitting on an opposite end of the table. Otherwise, theoptions of vegan and gluten dishes is amazing for groups with diverse dietary restrictions. The pork congee was so delicious,nothing like I've ever had before. Been here twice and it does not disappoint. Small spot (maybe 15 seats max - all bar top). Small and precise menu with no... servers, pay up front & and just the two chefs cooking up and taking orders. Food is one of the best quality viet in the city.It's also a great little date spot. We came back from a trip and was looking to order some viet food. This was the most disappointing viet takeout we had ever had.... The food took over an hour to prepare. They didn?t include any utilities or dipping sauce, this is unheard of? the pho only camewith 4 pieces of thinly sliced meat. The noodle was rough and dry even drenched in broth. Loved this place. The staff were extremely friendly and it has a great vibe. Got the congee and it was fun and lovely to look... at. I did find the pork a wee bit flavourless and dry but the pickled mustard and egg were a delightful touch. Would love to goback and try more.
