It's very rare that I give a restaurant 5 stars in all 3 categories, but Wood's definitely deserves it. The food was delicious... and good value for money. The atmosphere was wonderful with great decor and just the right amount of buzz without being toonoisy. With that said, the restaurant truly stands out because of the service. Our waiter and the supporting staff were thevery definition of great service. Friendly, efficient and overall a joy to interact with. The management of Wood's deserveskudos for fostering such a great environment. Read more
Everything here was spectacular. Firstly, the service was amazing, with attentive and personable waitstaff. Cocktails were... great, the elk tartate was delicious, and the wild boar chops were cooked go perfection. Definitely save room for dessert, asthe house made donut holes were out of this world. Easily the best dining experience in Toronto. I came here once and it instantly became my favourite restaurant. There is... truthfully not a thing on the menu I would not recommend. The elk dish will transform your evening, but it is not without astar-studded supporting cast. From the cocktail menu to the strawberry shortcake dessert, you truly can not go wrong. Read more
What an amazing dining experience! Our waiter Tommy was super helpful at offering recommendations that did not disappoint one... bit. The ambiance is wonderful and the food choices were all amazing (minus the scallop Duo which was not quite what we wereexpecting). Would definitely go back to try out the new amazing menu options and to see how the restaurant has changed theirinterior decorations. Read more
