Nice cozy sushi restaurant on expensive side, and it is expected when the food and service are top notch! Unfortunate fortunate... event when they forgot to serve us water in the beginning, we received 4 free black sesame icecream on the house. I am notcomplaining at all. ???? Read more
I came here years ago when it was ichiriki and it seems to have leveled up since then. The staff was mostly Japanese and spoke... Japanese, so that was cool and added a touch of authenticity. It was pretty packed but were were able to get seats at 8:00 on aSaturday. Prices are steep, but the quality was great and merited the cost. The wagyu beef was especially good and some of thebetter wagyu I've had in Toronto. The sushi very fresh and the selected sashimi cuts were excellent. Staff was quick andattentive and we were never left waiting for an excess amount of time. The only issue was a broken window patched up with chipboard, but this seems to be a recent development that I'm sure will be fixed soon. Read more
Had a delicious lunch here! They have a wide assortment of quality seafood, some of which you can?t find at other sushi spots. I... had the seafood don with sea urchin and other seafood. Pricey, but satisfied my premium fish craving. Service was fast andfriendly. However (not sure if this was just for us) they don?t come to check on you. Some of the best sushi in Toronto. You?d be hard pressed to find better quality sushi for the price. Other more ?fine-dining?... type sushi spots would charge you much more for this quality. The atmosphere is down to earth and no frills, but great service. Read more
