The food was good, the staff was great and it was a nice cozy space. I had their Tantan Ramen and it was super delish. The broth... was nice and thick with a bit of spice. What was a surprise too was when the waiter brought out a bucket of toys for my daughterto choose from. Definitely a kid friendly place. I highly recommend this place for food and family comfort. This has been our corner neighborhood ramen joint for a while. Reliable, good, friendly but not exciting. Until this time, when... we came by accident because Curryfornia was once again closed by 7 pm. There's still a couple tables outside which is greatlyappreciated. Our server Mika who we hadn't seen before has brought the level of service and energy up a couple notches. I askedfor the difference between two similar looking noodles on the menu and got the hot tip to add butter to the mazesoba. Holy cow,so much wasted time looking for good garlic noodles in the area when this was the best tasting one we've had. This place justjumped up several levels in places we can walk to and eat outside. The combo deals are now available at night and made a greatappetizer/bit of vegetables and greens for your meal. Ramen spot off the beaten path. Came here for dinner with a couple of friends right at 5:30 when they opened. There was a small... line and there?s a list where you can write your name down for when it?s a busier time. Got the maze soba which wasn?t too spicybut had good flavor. We also split an order of gyoza (5 pieces) which were on the smaller side it came freshly fried. Theservice was nice and prompt. Indoor and outdoor seating available. This ramen spot was great for its price. It was $10-$12 bux per ramen. The broth was decent and the noodles were cooked... perfectly. I did find the chashu to be a little too fatty and less flavorful. If you need ramen craving to be fixed, this placewill do. Read more
