Their pupusas are delicious! Their yuca frita with pork is unbeatable! So why the 1 star? The customer service! I placed an... order online using the option available on their website (not Yelp), waited the 35 minutes for the order to be ready and droveto their establishment to find out they didn't "receive" my order. I ask the cashier for a refund and it makes no sense to arguewith her about why they aren't checking their account, offered on their website for orders! To make things better, I prepaid formy food and now have to wait for a "possible" refund! Not only was this a total waste of my time but also a loss on almost $20dollars! If I walked in and took $20 from them it wouldn't be ok! Why do they think it's ok for them to do so? I will mostlikely not visit this establishment and do not recommend them! The popusas are delicious!!! Expect to wait for your food, unless you order ahead. The popusas are large, good amount of... filling, non-geasy, and freshly made ????. Also, the two salsas they provide really compliment the food and the chicken tamaleswere super moist (banana leaf wrapped). Highly recommend this location. Read more

The pupusas from Pupusatown are freshly made and delicious! They are not at all greasy and they make them with plenty of meat.... We've had the pork and cheese, chorizo and cheese, and chicken and cheese. There are plenty of varieties to choose from. Thecabbage mixture and sauce are the perfect accompaniment. The plantains and rice and beans that come with the combo are alsogreat. We've had the beef pasteles and love them as well. It's best to order in advance to avoid the longer than usual wait. Thewait is well worth it though. We come from Hermosa Beach to get their pupusas because they are the best we have ever had. Theirprices are also very reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get. The owner, Lionel, is very sweet and our communityshould support his restaurant. Read more

This was my first time coming in and I was so excited that they had a fully separate menu with multiple vegan options. I LOVE... pupusas and love finding more vegan ones around town. This place will definitely be one of my regular spots from now on. Inaddition to their jalapeño and bean pupusa, I had their potato crispy pasteles and their ensalada drink. Everything was madefresh and came out nice and hot and so delicious! And their ensalada was the best I've had (though to be fair, I've only had itone other time lol). They had so many goodies, I had to talk myself out of buying one of everything. Read more
