Loved it, great service great food, excellent drinks! Clean and friendly environment definitely will be back
Being a Southbay girl this is one of my favorite neighborhood bars to visit for drinks. I can always grab a seat and order a... delicious old fashion or margarita, but that's where the good experience ends. Customer service even though we are regulars andhave been for years, well beyond remodel ( I still have my regulars stamp card) customer service is not a positive experience. Our past few times it's felt almost as though we are none existent even though we sit in the same spot and order the exact sameitem each time. Usually the bartender will occasionally check on us but for our actual server they tend to spend more time inthe bar speaking to guest bartop over their actual tables . Unfortunately I haven't seen my favorite server in a long time butit's sad to see that service has gone down hill. When it comes to food I'll admit some items have actually gone up in qualitylike their Texas- Eggrolls. I owe part of the delicious flavor to their honey mustard dip that accompanies them, but it's one ofmy favorites. My go to food item is actually their taco salad that I actually customize by adding rice to it. It's very fillingand the taco shell is delicious as well. On my most recent visit I did decide to be spontaneous and try the chicken fajitas. Myfood came sizzling and had an amazing aroma . It would have been a 10/10 however I only received 4 pieces of chicken in theabundance of vegetables. For the price I'm paying it truly was a bit upsetting and I wish I'd received more pieces of meat. Despite that hiccup it was delicious still and full of flavor. It's still a nice change from my old norm which was their PennePasta . One thing I do love is being able to always find a table that's ada friendly. It's a perfect dining place for days Ihave my wheelchair as well as my cane. There is alot of space to move around both indoors and outdoors which makes for apositive experience in that aspect. We left before ordering the meals, so I can?t judge the food. But why the bad review: We received 2 different menus (with... diferent prices) and missing listed price of the drinks. We waited too long to place the ordered for food. So we asked for thebill and at the end we paid each $10 for a single ordinary beer. Also the menu didnt have anything special. The service was great. The restaurant atmosphere is very nice; loved the music being played while waiting. Unfortunately, my... family and I shared the rib-tips appetizers, Tri-tip alacart, BBQ chicken salad, w/cheesy garlic bread, and a Dallas burger,we're not sure which one of the items we ate was the culprit; but all of us got sick to some degree.
