Food was good. They are proactive with giving info on vegan/vegetarian/not dishes if you start ordering stuff without meat,... which is a big plus in my book. FYI the veggie tempura is not vegan b/c there is egg in the batter (prob a normal thing, I havenever thought to ask) Read more
This is another "sushi" resturant that stands on rolls with lots of sauces. They do not season their rice with anything. The... nigiri has no wasabi underneath the fish to flavor and bind it to the rice. So here at Mikasa nigiri is a raw piece of fish ontop of unseasoned rice. The lady informed me that people complained about the added wasabi and that they do season the rice. If you want nigiri made correctly you have to request it. The rice was 100% not seasoned. If you come here stick to the rolls,they can hide their incompetence behind layers of sauces. Read more
