Menu for MamaLus Bagel Shop in Trappe, PA

I'm from New York and when I saw that this place was selling New York style bagels I got all excited. As New York has the best... bagels! When I came here it was sheer disappointment! The one lady was just so rude, food was way overpriced, and the bagelswere gross! They tasted like they came from a grocery store, and the cream cheese is definitely not homemade.... It wasnt evenPhiladelphia, but some off brand I've never heard of. If you're going to specialize in a single item why don't you make itright!! At least make it good. I also got a (medium) coffee nothing special that alone cost me $3! Here I'm thinking thisbetter be the best coffee ever honestly it tasted like cardboard even my husband didn't want it... safe to say it ended up inthe trash. The older ladies are very nice. However there is a lady with black hair in the back that is extremely rude and opening... complaining about customers when we can all hear her in the eating area. Service is pretty slow but bagels are decent. Read more

I just had this CRAZY woman fly in front of me, neglect to use a turn signal and cut me off in traffic almost hitting my car... then proceed to give me the middle finger!!!! Food is good. Service is friendly. Prices are a bit high. Skip the coleslaw.

Honestly disappointed over the whole place. I've been going here since they opened and just attributed it all to a new buisness... and everything. The food is over priced but not half bad. Wait times are excruciating. The sign in front says the open at 7.30in the morning on wednesdays but if you walk up they are closed. Google states the correct times I guess. Read more
