Not all cracked up to be-very over rated!! I ordered the Roasted Turkey with Gravy yesterday. Let's just say, I'll compare it... to canned dog food! The Turkey was textured like it was out of a can (like Spam), and very overly salted, and then the Mac &Cheese was on the same quality level as KFC's, the only difference that it's a white cheddar. It wasn't creamy, but stiff likereheated leftovers. I almost drank a 1/2 gallon of milk just to make it through my lunch. I had this same lunch about 3 yearsago, and it was great! The turkey was actually sliced like turkey should be, and the quality was there! I don't know whathappened, but The Kitchen needs to step up their game before I re-order from there! Read more
If I was just rating the food I would give this 10/5 stars. I love the food it's super tasty it looks nad tastes fresh and I... recommend this place for that alone But,Good luck getting the meal exactly how you ordered. I've gotten one order here that wascorrect. But I don't really judge them for this tbh However! What I ma going to take my stars down is the fact everytime I walkin to grab stuff off the al carte, EVERYTIME, I get glared or sneered at by the employees. I do not feel welcomed inside forsome reason. Idk if it's just how their faces work or what but it's weird. I have avoided this place in the past even when Iwanted to for their amazing bread purely because of how the employees make me feel. I get working the service industry I usedto do it for years and it sucks but I've never ha a coworker or myself sneer and make faces at customers just literally walkingin then immediately leaving. I hope whatever makes the employees feel this stressed works itself out because I really do likethe food. Read more
I just ordered a chicken burrito from The Kitchen and the guy who took my order at the register then proceeded to make my... burrito with his bare hands without ever washing them after touching the cash register. On top of that, the chicken and beanswere not mixed together, instead the chicken was all in one spot so when I took a bite I either got all chicken or all beans.The prices have gone up, but sadly the quality has gone down. Everything was good and love the easy grab n go section. Was a lovely bonus to be able to eat outside in their nice patio space.... Will become a lunch regular now that I know about this cute little spot! Read more
