The Reuben egg rolls are AMAZING! Besides that though, we didn?t care for the beer. They are generous pours for the flights though.

Wonderful larger open place with great beer and friendly staff. Also had a food truck turned kitchen that serves very good food. Mostly upscale burgers/nachos/pretzels/wings sort of things.

Friendly staff, live music 4 nights a week and other events like trivia and bonfires. Great beer, all of it is made on site. There's beers that they always have available, so if you fall in love that one will always be around (or at least usually) and then there's also some experimental brews and seasonals that highlight particular flavors. All of the beer is so good!! There's also a kitchen that is run by a separate business called Archie's and they're food is really good! Great place to bring company or meet friends or even go by yourself and make new friends or just enjoy the view of the water and read a book! I love this place!!

Doing a few day tour of the various Breweries and wineries in the Traverse City area, made stop here, and it was really nice. Not just beer to choose from, but some wines as well. Had the "Tap & Die" Marzen, very tasty! Enjoyed our visit!

A great environment and energy. All was wonderful from this bar. The Staff was generous with their time despite how busy it was. The beer was fresh, cold, and delicious. The live Jazz was a perfect pairing to the beach front energy. And last but not least the clientele was chill and down to earth. Will be coming back every time I'm in the area!

Amazing food! Ordered nachos and tacos from here as we were drinking next door at mammoth door and they were able to bring everything to us still with plates and napkins! Also had a cider here in a different visit that was great.

Review from 2020, since updated below: The workshop is great! Love the vibe and the empanadas are fantastic and fresh made the night before! The owner is super chill and there are always a tasty selection of drinks to choose from. Wonderful location too! EDIT: I tried their new tacos for their summer menu and was very disappointed. The food was cold, flavorless, and lacked any special Workshop twist. The chips and queso were store bought chips and from the jar queso. I loved coming here last summer to chill with their great drink menu and empanadas, but the atmosphere now is not as vibrant and the drink menu shrunk. Hopefully the empanadas will make a comeback!!

Awesome place! Decent beer selection, the food is great. You can play couple of games as well. Their pretzels were delicious and freshly made. The wings and nachos were also delicious. cool place to hangout and drink.
