My husband & I were married at Rho, best decision we could have made! Melissa Bolz is THE best event coordinator anyone can ask... for! She was on top of every detail, could not have had our day go more smoothly. The food was great, the service was topnotch & we would VERY HIGHLY recommend RHO for any event. Very disappointed with outside management. Tonight would have been my first night at this very talked about & highly recommended... "nightclub". Too bad I was not even able to get through the door. According to the bouncer on 8/31/17 (ladies line) everyoneneeds two forms of ID. I, not being a current student but of age (22) did not have two forms of ID on me. I asked if a creditcard would be enough & he replied rudely, with "I need either your birth certificate, passport or ideally your social securitycard." I told him how was that fair if I was not a current student. I told him how uncomfortable I was with giving a strangerthis information, he then proceeded to call me arrogant & threatened to call the cops if I did not leave the property. I askedhim where that line crossed for the property line & he sent me to the middle of the road, in a street telling me to go there.This situation needs to be fixed. I understand that there are policies and rules, but those rules and policies should be statedon the website if anything, especially for newcomers. Since I came on a Thursday, College Night, I took it upon myself to lookat the website before going & it clearly states on the website that with just one form of ID there would be a $15 cover charge.Case in point, if you are not a student, your drivers license won't cut it. They want all your information. Including yoursocial, that's the most important apparently. Also, the bouncer this night, learn professionalism & kindness it'll get you farin the world. Read more
