Never again! About 10 minutes into my vegan latte, I asked what type of plant milk the barista had used. Having not checked on... me since getting back on her barstool to play on her computer, she looked at me and said, "Just cow." I thought it was some newbrand, like "Just Eggs." No, not at all. It was 100% cow's milk. When I looked at her in shock, she just said, "Oh, can I getyou something with oat milk?" No apology, no "sorry" face, nothing. My wife and I were walking Troy trying to find an open coffee shop on 4th of July weekend. This whole downtown boards up on the... holiday. Seems odd to me. But this place was open. We got cold brew coffees and hung out in front where they have nice shadedCafe tables. I don't know if it was the owner or not but the guy behind the bar was more than willing to make us iced coffee's.I think this place is really more of a bar but could be wrong. They aren't optimized for coffee's but he did his best. It wasjust okay, but the great vibe made up for the so-so coffee. He was clearly bustling about, cleaning and prepping for theevening crowd expected that evening. We were here mid day. He was super friendly and inviting. Nice place. I'd recommend it. Read more
