Oh wow. I've been told by man folks to visit Red Truck and never got around to it. It's excellent! After 1 meal, it's going... to be moving into my rotation of favorites here in Truckee! The gyro was fantastic, especially with the extra habanero saucefrom the serving area. I'm going back tomorrow to try something new!!! Read more
Delicious food that comes flying out of the kitchen. It's quick, fresh, delicious, and healthy?count me in! The outdoor seating... is next to the runway, which sounds odd but is actually quite beautiful. The tables are comfortable with good shade, and theTruckee airport is hardly busy, so it's not really loud at all. I had an excellent business lunch there with a partner, and thethree of us enjoyed our meals very much for not a lot of money. I'll definitely keep it in mind for an easy option when I'm inthe area! Red Truck is by far the best food in Truckee, CA. I went there over 4 times in a week vacation to Truckee. I am a vegetarian and... everything there appealed to me, as well as my boyfriend (who eats a lot of meat), loved the food. The samosas were the best Ihave ever had.... perfectly cooked. The entire staff was so delightful, especially the Chef and owner (Larry Abney) who is aworld renowned chef and he blew my mind with how amazing the food was. I am definitely coming back next year, and the for therest of my life. 11/10 restaurant.... go and see for yourself!!!!!! Read more
