Excellent breakfast, home made Jam. Good coffee, and half price early bird breakfast from 5:30-7:30 AM. Will come back every... time I'm in the area. The counter service is excellent along with the conversation. Check the specials board for the meal of theday. The whole wheat bread with butter and home made Jam melts in your mouth. Read more
Wish I could give them 10 stars! What a great place! The owners came to our table and started a conversation as if we were... family, and we felt like family ?? the food was amazing! Service was excellent ( our waitress was very personable and good ather job) and the atmosphere was perfect. They offer half price breakfasts from 5:30ish a.m. to 7:30ish a.m. we will definitelybe going back every time we're in this area ???? if you are in the area you must come see these folks! Read more
Well, this was a bit of a disappointment after reading Google reviews and seeing the average rating. We arrived at Wagon Train... Coffee Shop at 12:40pm on Monday, June 20, 2022 and were almost immediately seated by a hostess. We ordered two large orangejuices and started looking over the menu. After a bit, the server, who was working the front part of the restaurant at thattime, asked us what we wanted. When we asked if they had omelettes, she said they were on the front of the menu. And as wewere figuring out how the menu worked (it?s a busy menu) and we asked if we could build an omelette, she she said, ?Yes, youjust need to decide what you want,? in an impatient manner. I found this odd since we were just starting to study theomelettes. It was then that I realized that I think she resented that the hostess had seated us because the restaurant closesat 1:00pm, and I got the feeling that our server just wanted out of there. We ordered. When this server was bringing us ourorder, she dropped the butter on the floor, and then never came back to replace it. She, instead, started working the cashier(I suppose the hostess was being relieved). So after about five customers paying, I was finally able to get her attention andask her to replace the butter that she had dropped bringing over our items. She did. As my wife and I were eating our meals,another customer told the server, ?We never got our milk we ordered,? to which the server said, ?Well, I?ll just take it off ofthe ticket.? Wow! My wife got up to go to the bathroom, passing through the rear of the dining area, where there was water onthe floor. As she passed through this area, my wife heard one worker tell another who was about to walk through that area,?Hey, be careful, there?s water on the floor.?
